Kennedy Academy of Leadership Club (KAL Club) was awarded a $1,000 grant from Maps Credit Union this week. 

KAL Club is a group of 31 – 4th and 5th grade students who meet once a week with their leadership mentor (25 mentors total).

Students are challenged to grow as leaders through weekly activities and leadership goals where they receive regular feedback from both their teachers and their mentors. They also hear from leadership guest speakers from the community. The grant funds will go to help fund service learning projects and college visits. Thank you MAPS!
